The first appointment is almost always a conversation before it is a treatment. We give you time to tell us what brought you here, examine you without rushing, walk you through the images on the screen, and draw up the plan together. You leave understanding what is going on in your mouth — not holding a quote you didn't ask for.

An honest plan
When there is more than one way to treat a problem, we explain them all — including the cheapest, and the option to wait. We would rather preserve a tooth than replace it whenever possible, and we will tell you when something can be left for later. Caring for what you already have is usually the most beautiful work.
More than dentistry: the polyclinic
In Fernão Ferro, we brought speech therapy, psychology, osteopathy and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) together with dentistry. Because night-time bruxism, a joint ache or anxiety in the chair are rarely just tooth problems. As far as we know, it is the only integrative dental polyclinic in Margem Sul. It was a choice, not a strategy.

We have lived and worked in Almada, Moita and Seixal for more than a decade. Our clinics are a few minutes from our patients' homes — on streets, not in corridors. We follow the families that grow with us, and that changes the way medicine is practised.

Insurance you can use here
We work with thirteen dental insurers and agreements — commercial plans such as Medicare, Multicare, Médis, AdvanceCare, SAMS Quadros, Agilcare, Dentinet and Dentalrede, the Future Healthcare medical network (which settles the Victoria Seguros and Saúde Prime plans), and SAD PSP, the scheme used by police officers. We also accept the SNS cheque-dentista. We see this as a way to keep continuity affordable: the same practice, year after year, with the copay you already have. Tell us which plan you hold when you book and we will prepare the paperwork before you arrive.
